Cardiff is the capital city of Wales. It's located at the South-East of Wales and has a population of 346,100. Cardiff has speakers of 94 different languages, but the most used languages are English, Welch and Somali. You'll have to get some Pounds (£) if you want to buy something! 

 

The castle of Cardiff is in the South and was built in the 11th century. The most played and important sports in Cardiff are rugby, soccer, cricket and basketball. Cardiff has been the birthplace of many important sportsmen, such as Collin Jackson (athletism) or Gareth Bale (Soccer). Most important writers from Cardiff are Gwyneth Lewis and Roald Dahl. 

 

The best time to visit Cardiff is absolutely in summer, because temperatures are pretty warm.

Mermaid Quay - It's a bay 1Km far from Cardiff's center. The perfect place to have dinner, relax and have a break from city stress.

Cardiff Castle - 11th Century castle at the south of Cardiff. It has been expanded for centuries, so there are different architecture styles in the same castle.

 

Price - £12 + £3 from the castle tour.

 

Caerphilly - City near Cardiff that has a very beautiful environment and a gorgeous castle.

 

Price - Free

 

Caerleon -  Little village in South Wales. You can find some remains from the Romans here.

 

Pice - Free

 

Adventure Wales Activity Centre - Centre where you can find a lot of activities to do outdoors to have fun.

 

Price - Free to go, but you'll have to pay if you want to do some an activity

 

Boulders - Boulders is an indoor climbing centre that offers activities for all ages.

 

Price - Depends on the activity.

 

Llandaff Cathedral - Angelical Cathedral built in the 12th century. Roman catholic cathedral dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and to the three Welsh saints as well.
